How to test
- Clean your screen first, so dust is not mistaken for a defective pixel.
- Start the test — the screen fills with a solid color in full-screen mode.
- Step through white, black, red, green, blue, and the remaining colors, inspecting the whole screen carefully on each one.
- A dot that stays black on every color is a dead pixel; one that stays lit in a single color is a stuck pixel.
